Born in India, I grew up in Singapore and now live in the United States, where I study Economics and International Relations at Claremont McKenna College. Before college, I served as a commissioned officer in the Singapore Armed Forces. I led a platoon of 30 soldiers and later helped oversee the training and operations of more than 400. Those experiences shaped how I think about leadership, accountability, and decision-making under constraint.
At Claremont McKenna, my work sits at the intersection of finance, institutions, and execution. I am an Energy and Utilities Analyst in the Student Investment Fund, where I conduct fundamental research and valuation to assess investment opportunities. I co-founded the Scholars of Finance chapter on campus, building programming focused on ethics, leadership, and long-term thinking in financial services. I also completed a product management fellowship with Product Space, where I worked on market analysis, business strategy, and translating ambiguous problems into structured decisions. As a Robert Day Scholar, I am particularly interested in applying economic thinking to real-world institutional challenges and continuing to develop as a leader. As I continue exploring investing and consulting, I am especially interested in roles that combine rigorous analysis with leadership in high-stakes institutional settings.
Outside of academics and work, I read widely, stay active outdoors, and enjoy creative spaces. I have been involved in theater, enjoy cooking and hiking, and have a soft spot for long drives and Formula 1.
